Welcome to The L’Chaim Center!
The L’Chaim Center was created in the fall of 2009 to continue the work of the Jewish Information Center (JIC of Houston). L’Chaim means “To Life!” The Center is a progressive, independent Jewish, “haimish” havurah (warm and intimate congregation) providing worship services including Shabbat and holidays, and educational opportunities to all unaffiliated Jews and non-Jews alike who wish to experience the joys of Jewish living and learning in a warm and friendly setting.
